Our friends at Warren Innovative Technologies, otherwise known as Suppressortools.com have created a myriad of tools to solve simple problems, and they have done with polymer 3D printing and solid out-of-the-box thinking. One of the better tools in the tool box for the Wolfman is this multi-tool. One side will open up the front end and the other side will support the 8 spline mounts.
The #16F suppressor socket variant for the Dead Air Wolfman, has spanners for the front cap and DA444 3-lug mount, and also s a spanner to engage the outer body's frontal recesses. This feature allows a tucked can to be pressed and rotated from the front while either in long or short configurations. When used in conjunction with an Energetic Armament, LLC Vox Blox vise clamp, it can be used to separate the front body section from the rear one and then re-assemble them.
The 5/64" diameter spanner pins are placed to engage the front cap slots better than the Dead Air factory tools. Use a 1/2" socket drive.
At Charlie's, we are not your Ace Hardware Store, but we enjoy bringing you innovation from small manufacturers and tools for the shop that make sense. If you have an Obsidian, you need this tool.
