Shop Service:  Surefire Suppressor Adapter Converted from Surefire Warden - Black

This is not a product - This is the shop service were we convert your purchased/supplied Surefire Warden into a 1.375-24 Bravo (“ASR”) mount adapter. Add a black Warden to your order here.

Universal adapters are extremely popular with more modern suppressors, where the back end of the suppressor is open with an internal threaded part to which adapters, including direct thread, Dead Air muzzle adapters, Rearden muzzle adapters, etc. are inserted to form a custom back end to a popular suppressor, like one from Dead Air, Energetic Armament, Silencerco, Ecco Machine and many others.

This service takes your Surefire Warden and mills it down and adds strength to the Warden to create a muzzle adapter which accepts Surefire SOCOM muzzle devices, which are extremely popular and allows the end to be inserted into an industry standard 1-3/8" - 24 thread pattern, also known as a universal adapter, a Bravo or an ASR adapter.

Fit note:

Customers have commented that some suppressors may not accept a full length open tined flash hider.  One such suppressor is the Silencerco Omega.  This is due to the first baffle being very close to the end of the suppressor.  A Warcomp would be even longer, and not recommended unless you measure your clearance.

Charlie's now offers the standard length blast chamber size, and the extended length.  Most suppressors and flash hiders will do fine with the standard length.  We have had an extended length made which increases the size from the Surefire clamp forward by roughly 3/8", which will give more room for longer tined flash hiders, like a Warcomp, and suppressors with smaller blast chambers, like the Silencerco Omega.  Unfortunately, we do not have a list of suppressors and muzzle devices which need the longer length.  If you pick the wrong size, you can return for a swap with remitting the only shipping charges, as long as the product is not used.

When would I need the Extended Length adapter?

If you answer yes to both of the following, then you should opt for the Extended Length adapter:

  • my muzzle device is a Surefire Muzzle Brake, a 3-prong SOCOM (Warcomp or not), or 4-prong SOCOM (i.e. length from suppressor seating flare to top of muzzle devise is > 2.25".) NOTE: Surefire Close Tine flash hiders (Warcomp or not) and the new A2 flash hider do not have any length issue.
  • the internal distance from bottom of my suppressor to the first baffle is less than 1.7". (OK, you will notice that the baffle is angled away and the muzzle device does not extend to the full width of the baffle. So, the depth measurement is not to where the baffle meets the suppressor wall but to about 1/2" from center.)

One final note, although we have yet to see a suppressor this small, if the internal distance from bottom of your suppressor to the first baffle is less than 1.4", not only will you need the Extended Length adapter, you will need to change to a Surefire Close Tine or A2 flash hider.

Note:  THIS IS SHOP SERVICE ONLY.  This is not a product.  You must either purchase a Warden (black), or send us a new in box, perfectly ready to resell Warden (black).  You will get instructions when you purchase.

Offered in black trim.  For Dark Earth Trim, click here

Note:  Please follow the instructions on this page, and any follow-up emails precisely.  Failure to do so may result in the return of your product, with you paying for shipping and a cancelation / handling fee for this order.  We do our best to give your exact instructions, and for the nature of this offering, it is important that you follow them.  If you do not follow-up with purchasing a Warden from us, or sending a new Warden as described, your order for shop services will be cancelled, and you will be charged a 10% cancellation fee.  If you send us a Warden that is not in the condition as listed, we will return it to you, and you will reimburse us for shipping and if you do not follow-up by purchasing a new Warden or sending us a Warden that meets the criteria stated, we will cancel this order, and charge a cancellation fee.

We have real reasons for being so specific.  We try to produce these in batches, and thus, if you are sending us a Warden, your Warden may be going to our resale bin, and we are using another Warden for your order.  Likewise, we need all products to be new and the same color.  It sounds unreasonable, but it is because of how we are processing and sequencing the work.  That also means that the turnaround time is much shorter than true custom work.

This offering is very specific, and we are balancing the requests of customers for a custom solution with our production and shop costs to offer the best possible price.  Variation from the instructions would mean additional shop expense, and we need to have a streamlined process for this to be fair to all.  Thanks for your understanding.
