Note: This is a legacy production item, and not normal stock. To order, the manufacturer requires us, as a Surefire dealer, to order a rather large number of muzzle devices, and the price is much higher to us than normal production parts. So, cost is higher, and availability is limited.
This muzzle device is excellent as a stand-alone muzzle brake, but also serves double duty as an attachment point for a Surefire quick detachable (QD) sound suppressor. It greatly diffuses side muzzle blast, as well as controlling upward/sideways movement. It features exacting tolerances for minimal shift in zero, regardless of the number of times a suppressor is attached/detached. Its high resistance to heat ensures years of reliable use.
