Superlative Arms
A well tuned weapon will perform better and offer a more pleasant shooting experience. The Superlative Arms adjustable gas block can function as both a traditional restrictive style or a patented "Bleed Off" type. By reducing the pressure entering a direct impingement gas system, the weapon can be run cleaner and smoother with less wear on parts and reduced gas block back to the shooter. Eliminating excess gas can also help keep the weapon cooler and reduce felt recoil by delaying bolt unlock and slowing the BCG. The Bleed Off method of gas adjustment also requires less maintenance than typical restrictive tuning. A tuned gas system is a must for SBRs, suppressed weapons, and competition firearms with specialized parts such as lightweight bolt carrier groups.
The Superlative Arms Adjustable Gas Block is designed to give you a near endless amount of adjustments for tuning your rifle to be low-recoil and reliable. However, unlike conventional adjustable gas blocks, it does not restrict gas flow but redirects it out of the block, so only the exact amount of gas required to work the bolt is used. This bleed off style offers many improvements like a cleaner and cooler running rifle, as well as better functionality in SBRs and suppressed rifles. Because of the bleed off port, the excess pressure cause by suppressors and short barrels is exhausted forward, reducing the amount of gas blow back to the face. The Superlative Arms .750 adjustable gas block uses the set screw attachment method on barrels with the same diameter gas block journal. If you plan on shooting suppressed, building an SBR, or just want a better shooting rifle, this might be the gas block for you.
This Superlative Arms bleed off gas block features a low-profile design, so that you can use most free float handguards with it. Also included is a 6” hex key for adjusting the gas block while it is underneath the handguard. With 30 adjustment settings, you can easily find the sweet spot to reduce felt recoil while staying 100% reliable. Because the adjustment screw is located outside the block, you do not have to worry about carbon build up seizing the screw or high pressures causing it to erode. Machined form 416 stainless steel with a Melonite finish, you can bet this gas block will last a long time.
