Otter Creek produces rifle suppressors with a twist. The company got their start in the Form 1 community, making parts for the DIY guy who wanted to build his own suppressor. Working with very basic tools, the proprietor took his skills in welding he applied at the Toyota assembly line and starting making suppressors for precision rifles in 2022. OCL had a very basic offering, and then their business took off when they copied the Allen Engineering Mk12 suppressor, and built it out of lighter weight material and called it the OCM5. Since then, they have created a very popularly priced can that competes with the YHM Turbo and have added staff and continue to experiment with new designs using traditional subtractive manufacturing. Charlie's was initially attracted to OCL as a way to fill the gap in capacity that resulted in Ron Allen's slow-down in production in 2022, and was an early dealer of the OCM5. Since that time, we at Charlie's are no longer dealing directly with OCL for a number of management reasons, but do come into OCL products from time to time, when other dealers have product that is not selling. We have found the quality of the OCL cans to be adequate for most needs, so we continue to resell certain products as they come to us, and offer at a discounted price.
