At Charlie's we build a number of rifle uppers with KAC parts. We buy some new old stock items, and occasionally hit something that was supposed to be unused, but it has some handling marks, scratches.
Limited supply. We don't look for these, they are rejects, so we try to be out of stock. :)
It is not good enough to make the grade for one of our builds, but is fine if you are looking for a service weapon, or you are going to rattle can or Cerakote it.
Mostly Titusville stock. Sometimes a Vero Beach. The Vero Beach tend to be more beat-up as they are older. These are grade C to D, meaning, 100% functional, some a number of areas of raw aluminum showing on the rails, and generally not all blemishes are covered by the 11-rib covers. Might have scratches on the sides, where the rail does not cover. Might be painted. These are beaters or close to beaters. The aluminum heat shields might show some signs of use and not be totally straight (again, mostly not visible when on the rifle). These are good if you plan to paint or if you are using rail covers. Not recommended for raw black quad rail, due to the number of marks on the rails themselves. Best if you plan on painting or Cerakoting.
Note: Included is only the upper and lower quad rail. No rail covers.
We also have new pristine M4 RAS' in KAC boxes and "new old stock", etc., and some Vero Beach items.
Be sure to read our return policy. If you are not happy, you can return. Pictures are representative, and not of your item. We are not taking pics one by one.
