Specifically made for long barreled .22 caliber rifles, the #22C-30 is a 30 inch Dewey cleaning rod, and is the rod that NSWC Crane issued with Mk12 rifle, Mod 0 and Mod 1. That makes it great for Mk12 fans, but this is the rod you want for any 16" or longer AR15 platform in 5.56mm / .223 cal. What we love about this rod at Charlie's is that that is twists as you push the rod down the bore to clean, and at 30", it is more than enough to push all the way out the muzzle and start again. A Dewey rod should be at the core of your serious cleaning days.
