Colt
The buffer tube has not been used, but will show some signs of scarring on the threads, as a result of the force needed to take off the extension tube. The rest of the buffer tube will be 100% functional, and 88% cosmetically new. You will not have any problems with the threads when you install, but you will likely see where the buffer wrench wore against the threads. Some localize thread damage, but the castle nut will easily glide along.
Sample picture will show the types of scarring you can expect. Graded B to C, the scarring will not show when installed, or if it does, very little will show.
Perfect for Colt and mil-spec builds, when you need Colt. The four position buffer tube is trademark protected, and is made of hardened 7075 aluminum forgings and then cut to exacting standards to hold the weight of the stock and gun in battle. Why settle for something less, when you can have Colt quality where it counts -- in an area that is prone to stress on your AR.
This is an original anodizing in OD Green, not a Cerakote. Colt made these in the last decade but never took off commercially, and are no longer made. Expect some handling marks. The buffer tubes have cosmetic marks.
