The Cadex Gen 2 unitized scope mounts provide a rock-solid optic mounting solution for precision rifles. These are machined from a solid one-piece aluminum billet for maximum rigidity and perfect alignment between the front and rear rings. The Gen2 models use a 6-screw pattern and are modular so that you can interchange front and rear top rings. This is new, as the previous models had a four screw architecture. Nothing wrong with four screws, but if you can fit six on your scope, why not? This is a differentiator when using high recoil rifles like maybe the Scar 17s or a Barrett .50 BMG or maybe a Cadex .375 CheyTac.
Target distances are getting farther, calibers are more powerful than ever and riflescopes are constantly getting heavier. For these reasons, a top-quality scope mount is arguably the most important element of a precision rifle package. If the mount does not hold the scope perfectly aligned with your point of aim, and moves even just a hair, you will never hit that long range target.
These mounts are 1.50" height to the centerline of the optic. This is especially popular with AR style platforms, especially 6.5CM and 7.62 NATO, which will likely be using long range scopes with 56mm lenses. 1.50" is considered the safe zone where the optic will not hit the rail, even with some modest MOA cant adjustments.
Cadex is known for making the best of whatever it makes, and their mounts are not exception. For the discrimintating shooter with a Lamborghi style alpha scope and maybe a BMW SR-25 or a Mercedes of a Cadex chassis, the Cadex scope mounts work flawlessly. Cadex offers the front ring with or without the diving board rail for nightvision or rangefinding and with or without the rear bubble ring. This model is the standard mount, but she is no plain Jane. Think ARC, Sphur, Nightforce, Geissele, and you are in the right league of scope mounts. Plus you get a Cadex name !!!
