Bergara's heritage starts in Spain, with its well honed barrels, just like the famous steel in the swords of Toledo. Bergara has since expanded its product offing to provide some of the best factory assembled rifles.
Bergara has a well-earned reputation for quality and accuracy. Their Premier line of rifles are made in the USA out of stainless steel and Cerakoted for durability and corrosion resistance. Their Remington 700 footprint action fits in 700 compatible stocks and used 700 scope bases with sturdier 8-40 screws. The bolt body is fluted with a floating bolt head, non-rotating gas shield, and features tool-less takedown for cleaning. The action is fitted with a Triggertech trigger for a crisp, user adjustable trigger out of the box. What sets Bergara apart is their barrels. Their barrels are checked for straightness, deep hole drilled, button rifled with a maximum groove deviation of .0002", and stress relieved. This detailed process creates a very high quality barrel on par with many custom gunsmith barrels.
The HMR Pro is the upgraded Premier series variant of the proven and popular HMR (Hunting and Match Rifle). The HMR Pro comes threaded for suppressor or other accessory mounting. The stock is a major highlight of the HMR Pro. The heart of the stock is an integrated mini-chassis for solid bedding of the action. This free floats the barrel and insures repeatability when removing and reinstalling the stock. The length of pull can be changed with spaces, and the cheek piece is adjustable for height. This model accepts the common AICS pattern magazines.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.
1) Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.
2) Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!!!)
3) Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.
