Whether you're a professional in the field or a responsible civilian, the Mini Scout Light Pro ensures you're always one step ahead, lighting up your path to success.
Bad things usually happen in the dark. Statistics show that violent crimes occur more frequently at night. Whether the end user is a responsible armed citizen protecting their family, an officer protecting the public, or a member of the armed protecting the nation; a solid weaponlight is a must for any firearm used to defend life. When it is time to bring force to bear, positive target identification is essential.
The SureFire Scout series has been a mainstay in the world of weaponlights for many years. The Mini Scout Light Pro is a powerful, yet lightweight and compact unit capable of both long and close range use through its TIR hybrid high-intensity beam. The LED is nearly indestructible and provides a more powerful beam and longer battery life than older models. The combination of the single 123A body and SureFire's new Low-Profile Mount (LPM) allow the light to be positioned optimally for the end user.
The LPM is designed to be mounted on either M-LOK or Picatinny rails using the included hardware. The LPM allows the user to optimize the light’s position relative to the rail. This critical adjustability allows the user to lower the light’s profile to an unprecedented degree, keeping the weapon as compact as possible while still maintaining the life-saving value of having the world’s finest high-output weapon-mounted light. It also adds extreme versatility by allowing the light body to be mounted as closely as possible to a variety of popular rail accessories, such as a Dual Beam Aiming Laser (DBAL) or Advanced Target Pointer/Illuminator Aiming Laser (ATPIAL). Simply pivot the WeaponLight body to allow optimal light positioning, then lock it down securely with a screwdriver or multi-tool
The Z68 tail cap features both momentary and constant modes while the outer protective shroud serves to prevent accidental contact. The unit is Mil-Spec hard anodized over its aerospace grade aluminum body and protected by O-ring seals.
This Mini is mighty in stature yet minimal in structure. It feeds off a single SureFire 123A lithium battery, but its virtually indestructible LED produces 500 lumens of intense white light focused by a TIR lens into a high-intensity beam. It’s ideal for low-light operations. Activation is easy: Simply click the push-button tailcap switch or press its pressure-activated tape switch, included on appropriate models. It’s ultra-compact and withstands the rigors of combat without weighing down your weapon.
Lightweight at 4.1 ounces and compact at 4.1 inches, the Mini Scout Light Pro delivers 500 lumens through a Total Internal Reflection lens for a bright beam with long throw and ample surrounding light. The light is controlled on a momentary or constant-on basis with a push-button tail cap switch, shrouded to guard against accidental activation. Its hard-anodized aluminum housing is O-ring sealed against the elements. Power is supplied by one CR123A battery with one hour of runtime.
A: Yes, the Mini Scout Light Pro is designed to be compatible with most Picatinny and M-LOK handguards, providing a secure and reliable attachment.
A: Absolutely! The Mini Scout Light Pro features a momentary-on pressure pad for easy activation, ensuring quick and convenient access to the light when you need it most.
A: The Surefire M300 and M340 are in the same family of Pro weapon lights, and their design is essentially the same. They both 500 lumens and 7,600 candela. The only difference between the two is the mount. The M300 uses a Picatinny mount, while the M340 uses Surefire's Low-Profile Mount (LPM) with both M-LOK and Picatinny mounting options.
A: The M340 is compact and lightweight, and that comes at a price of lower light output and shorter runtime. Obviously, the M640 is a bit larger and heavier. The M640 has twice the lumens at 1,000, and candela rated at 11,300, with 25% longer runtime.
In Charlie's view, the choice of the M340 is far greater than the M300, and moving up to a stronger light, like the M640 is a matter of mission and space on the rail as well as weight. 500 lumens is a lot, and in interior situations, going to 1,000 might be too bright. On the other hand, if the mission is normally outside and search or distance related, you might want to consider the M640. The M340 is ideal if your choice of accessories limits available rail space or your weapon of choice is an SBR, sub-machinegun such as an H&K MP5 or MP7, or a pistol-caliber carbine. Tier-one operators depend on the Mini Scout Light Pro for its high-output performance and compact size, which minimizes bulk on their weapons.
