Sprinco AR-15/M4 Carbine Buffer Springs

Premium Chrome Silicon recoil springs for reliability and a long service life.

"All AR parts are made by the same company." We at Charlie's have lost count of how many times we have heard this. Many shooters will spend their budget on the latest fad accessories and skimp on the basics. Here we believe that cheap parts are just that, cheap. Make sure to use quality internals on your builds.

Sprinco has a strong reputation in the industry for making some of the best springs available. Using only the highest quality materials and processes, Sprinco recoil springs can actually outlast the barrel of the host weapon and with greater heat degradation resistance compared to standard springs. With consistent pressure throughout the life cycle of the spring, many weapons will have fewer malfunctions due to aging and wearing springs. High round count shooters will also appreciate having to replace multiple lower quality springs over the service life of the weapon.

For easy identification, the end of the springs are stained using a metal dye. These are available in different power levels to allow for tuning the gun, for example, a weapon with a high back pressure silencer.

Material Specifications:

  • ASTM Grade A877 Certified Valve Quality Chrome silicon Wirestock
  • Heat Treated, Stress Relieved and Dual Stage Shot-Peened post winding
  • Impregnation / Plating with Re-Micronized Molybdenum Disulfide formulation

Color/Power Guide:

  • White - Standard Power: Equivalent to a brand new Mil-Spec M4 Carbine Spring.
  • White/Red - "Hot White" Intermediate Power: This sits between the standard Mil-Spec White and the Enhanced Power Blue.
  • Blue - Enhanced Power: Approximately 15% greater than the White spring for one of the considered Load Constants in the spring design. Sprinco Blue with an H2 buffer is a popular combination.
  • Red - Extra Power: Approximately 25% greater than the White spring for one of the considered Load Constants in the spring design. These are often used for heavier recoiling calibers or blowback 9mms.
