Nightforce X-Treme Duty Ultralite Titanium/Alloy Rings

Nightforce Ultralite rings banner

Offered in both 30mm/34mm with an assortment of heights and a choice of 4 or 6 cap screws.

Rings are a good answer over a mount when either you have a bolt action gun, that has a fair amount of real estate and the placement of the scope can be customized. Also, with ultra short variations of scopes with very little room on the turret, a good set of rings can make mounting easy.

While these Nightforce rings are lightweight, they are built to withstand extreme recoil. With the option of a six screw pattern are perfect for large bore bolt guns or gas guns known for an unusual punch, like an FN SCAR, for example.

How do you choose how high your rings should be? A general rule of thumb is that on a rifle platform with a Picatinny rail under the front of the scope, you will need 1.45" for a high magnification scope with a 56mm objective lens. This is true for tactical bolt action rifles and all gas guns, like an AR-15 or SR-25, AR-10, etc. For mounts with cant, or bias, you might need a little higher, so 1.5" is a good round number. These rings have no MOA cant, so a long range scope will fit nicely. If your scope has a smaller objective lens, you can go lower for bolt guns, but gas guns are optimized in the 1.35" to 1.50" without night vision. Adding night vision would require a higher mount, at least 1.7" and possibly as high as 2.04". For standard bolt gun platforms, lower heights can be used accordingly.

Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with titanium jaws and cross bolts, these rings are available in 30mm or 34mm. At half the weight of steel rings, these hard anodized sets are much stronger than what is usually found in lightweight rings. These are offered in standard four screw models or the six screw variant, which has 50% more clamping force. These will hold your optic in place through rough handling and extreme conditions.

Comes as a set of two rings.
