The NX8 2.5-20x50 F1 riflescope is the next generation in scopes from Nightforce. Building upon the legendary durability of the NXS family from Nightforce, the NX8 adds first focal plane performance with a 8x zoom range in a small package. The Nightforce NX8 in 2.5-20x puts the shooter in sweet spot of magnification. There is a lot of territory that a 2.5-20x scope can cover, and with a slightly smaller footprint that the mega-magnification scopes. With a 50mm objective, this gives the shooter the flexibility to bring the mount height down below 1.45" if that is desired, even with a 20 MOA base.
Other features include the ZeroStop elevation adjustment for a rapid return to zero. The 50mm objective is optimized for resolution and light transmission, with a parallax adjustment coming as close as 11 yards. The integrated PTL (Power Throw Lever) makes power changes fast and easy. The Mil-XT reticle has been an extremely popular reticle, combining the strengths of a Horus-like Christmas Tree reticle, while maintain a clean uncluttered format.
The MIL-XT™ has a simple center dot for a fine aiming point at center, while the main lines feature .2 Mil-Radian holds. Each whole Mil-Radian is numbered for fast reference under even stressful conditions.
Below center, whole Mil-Radian intersections feature a floating dot. Dots are placed at .2 Mil-Radian increments, while whole Mil-Radians are increased in size for fast counting. Additional marks are placed at half Mil-Radian increments as well. Numbers below center alternate in size for easy counting and verification of appropriate hold points.
