The ATACR™ 1-8x24 riflescope is designed and built to be the ultimate low-power variable riflescope. It includes pristine ED glass, bright daylight illumination, an intelligent reticle, very low-profile adjustments and bomb-proof reliability, with a field of view at 1x equivalent to open sights…but vastly more precise.

Unlike a red-dot, however, the 1-8x provides up to 8x zoom to help locate, identify and engage targets at the maximum effective range of most rifles. The intelligent FC-DM first focal plane reticle provides precise hold and hold-off points. The low-profile turrets are capped to prevent accidental adjustment and offer true .1 Mil-Radian adjustment. To aid in fast magnification adjustments, an integrated Power Throw Lever (PTL) is included.

The FC-DMX reticle transforms your ATACR into a dual-purpose precision instrument, combining red-dot responsiveness with long-range precision. At 1x, the daylight-bright illuminated center circle delivers the same rapid target acquisition as dedicated CQB optics, while the instant transition to 8x magnification unleashes match-grade precision capability.
Built-in ranging capabilities use the hash mark spacing to reference 19" at 100 yards, matching average human shoulder width. The intelligent holdover system eliminates dial adjustments under pressure, allowing rapid target transitions across multiple distances through pre-calibrated reference points.

Charlie's uses Geissele 34mm extended mount, as it nicely pairs with the ATACR. If you would like a standard (non-extended) mount, just ask. It would be unusual, but perhaps your firearm would work better with the scope further back.
The Geissele Super Precision Mounts are made from 7075-T6 High Strength Aluminum. To create a mount with the best possible return to zero we machine the entire mount from a single piece of billet aluminum. This allows us to add pockets and ribs throughout the mount for added strength and rigidity. It allows us to line bore the caps to each another and then serialize the caps to the body. The line bore operation creates the best possible fit to the body of your scope so that you can apply proper torque without fear of crushing or damaging the body of your scope. Another advantage of machining from a single piece of aluminum is that we are able to create a mount with cap locations that will suit a wide variety of scopes.
