Mesa Tactical Anti-Walk Trigger Pins

Captive trigger pins for Remington 870/1100/11-87 shotguns.

Mesa Tactical has been making duty grade shotgun accessories for more than 20 years. The Remington 870 has been going strong since 1950. From war zones to squad cars to duck blinds, the 870 has done it all. In its stock form, the 870 is a useful tool. Updated and it will carry the shotgun aficionado well into the 21st century. As needs change, the gun has evolved. Extended mag tubes, pistol grip stocks, and optics mounts are common place now. One area that is often neglected are reliability upgrades. One of the easiest is to add captive anti-walk trigger pins.

The 870, as well as the later 1100 and 11-87, has a trigger group held in by two pins retained by small D-clips on the trigger group. The original 870s left the factory with two of these retaining each pin. This meant that both had to fail before the pins could walk. Redundancy is good in a fighting tool. Remington would later delete the extra clips as a cost saving measure. This may be fine for a sporting arm where the price of failure is a missed bird. When life is on the line, this can be disastrous.

Mesa Tactical offers a simple upgrade that can be installed at home in minutes. These anti-walk pins with Chicago screws secure the trigger group while also preventing pinching the receiver. Don't depend on fragile D-Clips that break or go missing during routine cleaning. Get peace of mind with Mesa Tactical.
