Charlie's sources these both as military surplus and also as new take-offs from Colt rifles.  This is the military version of the sight.  The only difference between USGI and military is whether there is a logo on the side, so this sight does not have the Picatinny Arsenal logo.  We also sell that version, if you are looking.
