The CTR Stock's innovative friction lock system ensures a rock-solid interface with your carbine's receiver extension tube, eliminating the wobble common in many collapsible stocks. This enhanced stability translates directly to improved accuracy, allowing you to maintain a consistent cheek weld and sight picture shot after shot.
While many overlook the importance of a quality stock, the CTR proves that every component matters. Its carefully engineered shape provides an improved cheek weld, promoting proper head position and faster target acquisition – a subtle but significant advantage in high-pressure situations.
Oh, just in case: What makes this mil spec? Well, two things. The one that you think: yes, the US Military does use this stock, but no, that is not the main reason. Buffer tubes, also known as extension tubes come as either mil-spec (pretty much everything Charlie's carries) or commercial. The two are not compatible with each other, so if you have a milspec tube, you need a milspec stock. Honestly, a commercial tube, like a semi-auto BCG, are something we rarely see. Maybe the dealer with the robin's egg blue AR15's has them. LOL.
