Designed for the RAS II, but equally at-home wherever a short mount is desired.
This QD mount for the Aimpoint Comp M2 is 1/2" shorter than the standard Comp M2 mount to fit a RAS II. It has a 30mm ring and hard-locks to any Picatinny rail.
Note: This Mount is lower than full co-witness on a standard Picatinny Rail, which is why it was originally designed for the RAS II, which has a rail portion that sits higher.
The LT152 positions the centerline of the optic 1.20" above the top of the rail. So, quite low, which is desirable in many situations. If you want low and accurate, and either have a high rail, like the KAC RAS II, or a rail without a fixed front sight, this is an attractive option, as lower is more accurate.
This product has been mounted to an Aimpoint CompM2 and mounted to several rifles. It is in very good B+ shape, and fully functional. Signs of wear exist largely in the screws that hold the mount vertical clamshells together and on the underside of the clamp, where it attaches to the Picatinny rail. Charlies is very conservative in its gradings of used and demo and blem items. Most people tell us a medium grade looks like a good, and a good looks close to new.
Like all LaRue mounts, it is precision-machined out of bar-stock aluminum and mat black anodized to provide a durable non-reflective surface finish. The locking LaRue Speed Lever provides outstanding return to zero; the optic can be removed, and replaced, without loss of zero. Guaranteed.
