Geissele parts are a known quantity in the industry. Top tier guns and equipment from Geissele has been used on all levels of law enforcement and military for years now. One thing Geissele does that many companies overlook is offer different colors. Sure everyone makes pistol grips and stocks in different colors, but what about the rest of the rifle? Of course Cerakote or the classic rattle can are always an option. But why the extra steps when you can get the parts already anodized your desired color? Take Geissele's Premium 7075-T6 aluminum Mil-Spec Buffer Tube, hardcoat anodize it the desired color, and package with quality components and there you have it.
Geissele's buffer tube is a six position Mil-Spec size for carbine springs and buffers. Included in the package is a high-quality, mil-spec castle nut and end plate.
Gray is everywhere. Whether you live in the concrete jungle or up in the mountains, you see gray every day. Gray also blends well with many camouflage patterns. Or maybe you just like the OG gray of the original M16s. Whatever the reason, gray is a classic rifle color that fits many environments.
The Geissele Premium Mil-Spec Buffer Tube is machined from quality 7075-T6 Aluminum and finished in Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize, available in Black, Geissele’s DDC, and ODG. This rigid and durable buffer tube conforms to all mil-spec standards and features 6 stock positions. This carbine length and mil-spec diameter Premium Buffer Tube is made in the USA and weighs in at 3.7oz, making it the perfect fit for your AR-15 lower and ensuring compatibility with most mil-spec diameter quality AR-15 stocks. Included in the package is a high-quality, mil-spec castle nut and end plate.
You will notice that some of these will have wildly different shades of colored anodizing, and they look wildly different depending on the light source! Why would we even consider selling parts like this? The answer is there is absolutely nothing that can be done to make colored anodizing consistent with the military grade anodizing processed used by Geissele. Hey, celebrate diversity. Black is easy. Gray is hard. Keep in-mind that gray in your mind is different than gray in the head of the next person. Fifty shades of gray. LOL.
These buffer tubes shown here are all variations of color that come out of the anodizing process, all shown with the same light, with black shown at the bottom for comparison.
