Product Overview

Geissele produces a number of variations of rails, but the Mk8 has become the new norm, embracing MLOK while maintaining a Picatinny rail across the top.  At Charlie's Custom Clones, we often get a question about which components to use to upgrade an existing rifle, or for customers to create a new build.  Sometimes it is for a personal weapon, and other times for an individual officer or Agency looking for an ideal duty weapon or upgrade.  The Geissele Mk8 has become the go-to answer, and DDC is often the color of choice.  The Mk8 has become the staple of our workshop.  If the Mk8 is not the right fit, we vary from there, but it is often the first choice to point toward a great rail that is widely accepted and recognized as a performer in the field.

The 15" length works best with 16" to 20" barrels.  It is a bit longer, and the length gives the shooter more options in attachment points, or the use of a bipod or tripod
