The 556-K faux suppressor does nothing to quiet sound or suppressor muzzle flash, but boy it looks the part. The interior is a solid pass-though barrel extension. So, no baffles, no confusing law enforcement. Made of aluminum to keep the weight down, the fake can is solid, so it will absorb a lot of heat, but is not meant for multiple mag dumps or full auto fire. As a solid tube, there is no confusion about sound suppression. The tube can accommodate up to 9mm rounds, so the bullet exits the barrel and travels through the tube, and out the muzzle, along with all the gas and sound. Made for simple cleaning: use a 9mm barrel cleaning kit, or dunk it in soapy water or an ultrasonic cleaner.
