From Will M. in Katy, TX: Proudly served in the Marines and wanted to show-off his Mk18 Mod1, which is a copy of the service rifle he had in the USMC. What a beauty.
"Yup the 10.3 I bought from you will be going on it."
Semper Fi, Will! Thanks for the pic, and thank you for your service.
From 1st Sgt Brett M., USMC (Retired), Zachary, Louisiana: "I wanted to say thanks again. Well done! Couldn't be happier, and she shoots great."
1st Sgt Brett assembled an M4 Block 1 clone from an upper receiver group he purchased from Charlie's. "...what I carried on numerous deployments to Iraq."
Yes, 1st Sgt!!! Thanks for your service, Brett.
From Mike H. in Temecula, CA: "Thanks to Charlie's Clones. Every single item (A LOT, BTW), has been EXACTLY as described. Charlie’s makes the clone “scavenger hunt” wayyyy too easy." Mike is so kind as to give us pics of his amazing MK18 with the EOTECH and magnifier and Surfire weaponslight and a great M4A1 Block 2 build. Notice the attention to detail with the LMT SOPMOD Gen1 stock. These are very popular clone builds, and wow, love the sticker son the right mag well. Look what Mike has. Thanks.
Mike's Mk18 Mod1.
Mike's M4A1 Block 2
From Michael M. in Dover, NH: "It was great working on this project with John. He was very knowledgeable and took the time and energy to assist in an accurate clone build." Mike posts a pic of his USMC M4A1 clone, complete with an ACOG and a sharp looking coyote Vicker's sling. We are posting two pics -- one with the black KAC rail covers and one with Taupe or Tan covers and a USMC bayonet. Mike purchased his upper from Charlie's and is looking forward to buying an M4A1 roll-marked lower at Charlie's Custom Clones. Thanks, Mike, for sharing.
From Ben L. in Wisconsin, he shares one of his favorite builds, which, as puts it, "doesn't exactly fit the clone type build, but still kinda cool." Indeed, it is Ben. Love the Daniel Defense RIS rail Mk18 setup and the Aimpoint optic.
Joshua S. of Neenah, WI sends us a great pic of his Cadex folding frame bolt action sniper rifle, nicely done in OD green and a skeleton stock with a RAL 8000 Schmidt & Bender scope. As I recall, that is an Ultra-Short 3-20x. Beauty in the making, Josh. Nice package, and a great photo with the distressed barn in the background. Sends shivers up and down my body !!! Josh, thanks for your multiple purchases at Charlies, and sharing of a great sniper pic. We need more variety in this sea of M4's.
Bill K. of Bridgman, MI, brings a nice view of his Cadex long-range precision rilfe he had built. Bill purchased the Cadex Lite Competition from Charlies, and added a Remington 700 5R .308 cal 24" barrel, nicely Cerakoted in Coyote Tan. "I can go to 1,000 yrd matches and not do too badly..."
I am sure, Bill. With that rig, you are being modest. Nicely done.
S. Daniel, from Alabama shows us his short barreled rifle that he how uses in his police helicopter. Officer Daniel told us: "the Department issues us an M16, but if I had to use it, I would have trouble moving it into position." He came to Charlies to get an 11.5" Colt Commando upper receiver, and he plugged it in to his service rifle lower, and viola!
Love the pic, Officer Daniel. Stay safe, brother !!
Cleve, from the Bay Area of California provided this pic of what he calls his Clone Incorrect rifle, a little play on words from what Geissele offers as the Clone Correct URG-i. Cleve has purchased a number of Geissele parts, like the charging handle, DDC mount and the Mk16 rail. Thanks for the great pic, Cleve.
Bobby J. from Houston, TX wanted to show off his build: "Just wanted to thank you all at Charlie’s for the help in putting my 'modified' M4 clone together. I think it turned out pretty good!" We agree, Bobby. Looking good.
