The full-length Picatinny top rail gives you plenty of room to mount your preferred optics, lights, lasers, and other accessories along the entire length of the handguard. This allows you to customize your setup exactly how you want. The nitrided steel QD sling sockets make it easy to attach a tactical sling securely. The rest of the handguard is covered in M-LOK slots to accept a variety of grips, rail panels, bipods, and other accessories. A 17-4 PH stainless steel core in the rail attachment section makes M-LOK even more secure and is patent pending.
CMT also eliminates the potential for some of the common mistakes made during installation. Anti rotation tabs align the rail with the upper receiver. The barrel nut does not require timing so you won't have to shim it. The inside of the handguard does not contact the gas tube or apply any side load which could cause cycling and reliability issues. The UHPR is compatible with most known low profile gas blocks.
