The Badger Ordnance 30 mm Medium Unimount is light-weight due to both design and materials. By removing material without compromising strength and rigidity, the Unimount is an great scope mounting option. Billet machined from 6061 T6 Aluminum and Mil-Spec Type III Hardcoat Anodized.
Designed specifically for use on M-14 and M-1A rifles.
While designed for the M-14 pattern rifle, there is an advantage to using a one piece ring mount on a bolt action. By their integral nature, the rings can not be misaligned the way some two piece systems can be. This is a low mount that keeps the eyes as close as possible to the bore of the rifle. Works well with a bolt action rifle or the M14, but usually too low for an AR platform.
