This is the thread protector that is needed for the Allen Engineering brake mount. 100% genuine, made by Ron Allen. This is one part of three parts that you need for a Mk12 build, or for any other barrel with the #12 / AEMB mount. This thread protector will also work for Allen clone mounts, from BCM, Otter Creek and Centurion. Many of those companies do not offer a thread protector. Any mount that is made for an AEM5 or OPS #12 suppressor or clone, this thread protector will fit just fine.
