The A.R.M.S. #17S Throw Lever® Mount shares the same mounting platform as the #17 but is more compact, measuring 1 9/16 inches. Developed for small pocket scopes and laser attachments, the #17S is ideal for applications requiring a smaller footprint. Its standard STANAG width channel allows secure attachment of laser or night vision optics at two points.

Interesting Trivia

Dick Swan, then CEO of A.R.M.S. sued LaRue Tactical in 2009 for their Model LT-170 being a copy of the ARMS #17, and using the number "17" in their product title.  At the time, Dick was rather well known for suing other manufacturers.  By December, 2011, LaRue settled with Swan, and was given a license to mimic the #17 in his mounts.
