These are the Colt M4 stocks that are delivered on new Colt rifles. Charlie's gets new stock from the manufacturer, and also takes off stocks from new rifles, so never used, packed in milspec plastic.
DOD Mil-spec waffle stock for Colt contract, made by Prudent American, which is the successor and parent to P&S Products, and has been making parts for the M4 rifle for 20 years. These have a CAGE code stamped as Prudent American Technologies (8FW25) or P&S Products (4U486).
Colt does not make the most of their stocks, Prudent American Technologies (PAT) (formerly known as P&S Products) does. The M4 Military and Civilian stocks for all Colt Rifles, built with waffle stocks, are made by PAT. These stocks are marked with the PAT (or P&S) CAGE Code and "Made in USA". We also sell stocks that are inscribed with both a Colt CAGE Code and a PAT CAGE Code (in place of the "Made in USA") as Colt waffle stocks. There are other non Mil-Spec makers of this stock, who replicate and make something that looks like this, but this is the official stock used by Army, USMC, Seals, etc.
Prudent American Technologies (formerly P&S Products) make a lot of peripheral parts for Gov't contracts. You would not know the name, unless you are a clone nerd like me. The cage code 4U486 on the stock is for P&S Products and 8FW25 for Prudent American Technologies. You can Google it. P&S Products and Prudent American Technologies also make hand guards, and quad rails. The RAS rails on the M4A1 Block 1 were sourced by DOD from both KAC (Knights Armament) and P&S. If you are looking for a mil-spec correct clone, you look for Colt, P&S Products, or Prudent American Technologies for your stock, unless you are looking for SOPMOD, then you look for LMT for basic AR15, or for mil-spec M4A1 clone build, this is the real deal. This model includes the sling loop at the bottom rear. Nothing but the best at a great price.
NOTE: There are many M4 stocks listed on other Websites and on eBay that are NOT military stocks, but are cheap plastic imitations. All military stocks will have a CAGE Code. Don't be dupped into buying a toy.
The P&S CAGE Code Stocks we have are made between 2015 and 2022. The PAT CAGE Code Stocks are made 2022 to current days, and are exactly what is delivered on a Colt rifle from late 2022 to current production. We offer both, as some people care about the age of things, but they are 100% the same product.
