Why is the Cherry Bomb so popular? Not sure. Maybe because it is from Q.
The Cherry Bomb by Q is a Quickie Fast-Attach muzzle brake that provides a taper and break that diffuses the blast into the first baffle of a suppressor. We are not so sure that the muzzle break by itself is so cool, but taken together as an integrated system, it really does make sense and helps you be cool. (It's a joke).
The Cherry Bomb was designed to be the adapter of choice for Q suppressors, like the Thunder Chicken and Trash Panda. But its appeal has grown beyond a proprietary attachment point for suppressors, especially when coupled with something like the Atlas from Rearden, and other suppressors and mounts that take advantage of the taper for a solid sea.
The Cherry Bomb features a taper mount shoulder to align with Q and Q-spec barrels, adapters and silencers. The Cherry Bomb uses a 1/2 inch socket on the front for easy install and removal, and features 360° circumferential ports to alleviate the need for timing and shims. Backwards compatible with standard 90 degree shouldered barrels.
