KAC’s iconic Ribbed Rail Panels have seen use all over the globe on US military M4 Carbines. The lightweight polymer panels are ribbed for an enhanced grip, and help insulate the support hand from barrel heat. While originally designed for use on the KAC M4 RIS and M4 RAS rails, these panels are also compatible with many other railed handguards.

Charlie's also carries other vintages of KAC rail covers, from earlier periods, and also the current military contract model, which is close to identical, made by: P&S Products - Prudent American Technologies (11-rib RAS rail cover).

The KAC and the P&S / PAT models all fit both Knights and P&S and Prudent American Technologies RAS Rails.  In other words, they are all interchangeable.  If you want the original, then getting a Knights RAS rail cover is what you want.  If you want the same product with different name and save money, the military contract PS/PAT is what you want.  Both KAC and the other vendors provided military RAS rail covers to the US Military at various times since the late 1990s.
