The Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor is designed to reduce muzzle flash. Manufactured from aerospace 17-4 stainless steel and salt bath nitride finished, there's minimal chance of corrosion.
The DD Flash Hider comes in standard or extended length and 1/2 x 28 TPI or 5/8 x 24 TPI. THIS IS THE STANDARD LENGTH 1/2" x 28 for 5.56 barrels.
note from Charlie's: This is not your standard A2. This is one of the better built 'modest' flash hiders on the market. As this is the flash hider that comes on the DD Mk18, it is really cool that it will accept the Knights Armament NT4 suppressor.
