The Nomad-30 ships with a 5/8"-24 adapter. You need this if you are going to direct thread with a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle.
The universal 1.375"x24 "bravo style" threading to the suppressor end, allows the use on a wide variety of suppressors
The KA301 has a longer neck for the direct thread, which also allows for the use of a wrench from the inside of the adapter, often useful for tightening the thread adapter from within a rail assembly. The fixed thread adapter is made of Titanium, but has a black exterior. When mated with a Nomad Ti, you will notice the color contrast, but the blackening was created to prevent gauling of titanium when inserted into the Titanium suppressor.
The orginial 5/8" (Part Number LT302B) direct thread adapter is actually 17-4 stainless steel, and has been bead blasted to match the natural titanium color.
