This is a new rilfe: Colt LE6920-SOCOM limited release in May, 2018.  At Charlie's we have the M4A1 SOCOM upper assembly, the full 6920SOCOM lower receiver assembly, the Colt limited release ultra-prime 2017 6920 SOCOM rifle and the stripped M4A1 lower

Note:  This is the new limited release 2018 rifle Do not confuse this with an HBPW or other newer or older releases.  The 2018, like the 2017 release, has all the bells and whistles, ready for battle.

Be advised:  This 2018 SOCOM is a true Colt battle rifle, produced like DOD contract rifles are produced.  You will see blemishes.  Colt is known for uneven roll marks, oil, no oil, handling marks, minor scratches, black anodizing and gray anodizing, chaulky grips.  The 2017 SOCOM was a very good fit and finish.  This is not.  Be prepared.  Also, the rifle was fired a number of times for testing.  There will be brass marks on the upper, and on the bolt, and the BCG will show signs of brass and wear marks.  Furthermore, the rifles are in boxes, and are shipped as-is.  We cannot tell you what your rifle looks like.  This is what Colt is all about.  It is not LaRue Tactical or a Les Baer.  The rifles cannot be returned.  Make sure you understand what a military rifle is and is not before you purchase.

If you are looking for a military spec M4A1 carbine, look for the 2017 or 2018 SOCOM rifle.  The HBPW is nice, but it is not a SOCOM.  Many upgrades on this rifle.  Also, an earlier SOCOM model had the Troy quad-rail and a 16" barrel.  That is good, but not as nice as this rifle or the 2017.  The 2017 vintage is very perfectly fitting, and handfitted.  The 2018 is more of a battle rifle, and you will find some oil oosing out, and other places that are dry and need oil.

THIS IS A SERIALIZED FIREARM.  IT MUST SHIP TO AN Federal Firearms License holder.  No civilian exceptions.

When you check-out:  We no longer take PayPal, as it has caused some confusion on the purchase of firearms, which is contrary to PayPal policies, and we had no way to retrict it  just for FFL items.

A firearm cannot be sent directly to you.  I am sure you know this, but for the fake-news reading this, who might think that a firearm can be mailed to a buyer, I have to reiterate:  A firearm or federal regulated serialized item (like a receiver or suppressor), only a federally licensed firearms dealer may receive such an item. It would be good to know your FFL and their shipping address before purchasing.  If you know the FFL address, please put this in your shipping address at check-out.  Any deviation from this, and your order could be delayed.  Sorry, have to have strict controls here.  We have a very manual process to reconcile orders to FFL transfer agents.  The easier you make it for us, the less likely your order will be held-up.  This is a highly regulated process, and compliance is monitored and enforced by the ATF.

Also your FFL must contact us by email, and send us a scanned copy of their firearms license.  We prefer a .pdf copy, and not a .jpg.  This is your responsibility to obtain and have emailed to us, or snail mail.  We do not have a fax machine.  Best practice is for your FFL to note your name and order number in the email header.  We will not follow-up with your FFL.  They should send to: .  If you forget, you can email us at the return address of any of the order confirmations that you receive.

Note:  California residents, click here for CA compliant processing.  This will also work for New York residents.  We will act on your behalf and instructions to ship to restrictive states, but ultimately, it is your responsibility to know the local and state laws.  We are in Virginia, and cannot, and do not know all the nuances of other states.  If we ship to your FFL, and there is an issue, we cannot accept a return, so please make sure that you know and follow your local and state laws.

Please note our shipping timelines.  We do not ship immediately.  Also, if you choose the free 5-7 day shipping, those orders ship after all other forms of shipping chosen.  Express shipping is given priority.

Be sure to read our return policy.  While your satisfaction is our primary concern, we are limited in a highly regulated business environment by what we can and cannot do, and the number of local, state and federal regulations.  We do not accept returns for ammunition and firearms, other than obvious defects.  Your gun dealer or transfer agent is responsible for inspection for defects:
