Sometimes there is just a cool factor to retro.  The TRIAD Mount was developed for use by Canadian armed forces before many of their M4 and M16 rifles were converted to full quad rails.  You can be unique and have a somewhat retro rifle clone with this mounted in the A-frame front sight post, and mount your illumination device.

The Cadex Tri-Rail Mount for the C7/C8, M4/M16 and AR-15 family of small arms provides users with a robust mount for laser pointers, illumination devices and bipods. Mil Std 1913 rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions.

The Tri-Rail mount, also known as the TRIAD rail was original equipment on the Colt Canada Diemaco SA 15.7 and SA20, or C7 and C8.  Something different for the military clone rifle enthusiast.
